Another View of Westerkerk and Tower

 
Drawing Amsterdam Dailies, Day 261. I did muck around with more pencil lines and changing the placement and proportions of the tower some more. Then I decided I could do that forever. Instead it was time to commit to ink. I started at the roof line so the tower goes up as high and as wonky as it will, and then down from the roof line, all of the pilasters, columns and windows can descend as far as needed. Opposite this drawing on the spread is another one of Westerkerk from a different angle. I painted primarily the sky on that one.
