Drawing Amsterdam Dailies, Day 205. This is a #gevelsteen, a carved and painted stone tablet. I enjoyed spotting these markers around the city. Some were old. This one is relatively new from 1985. There are silver coins dropping down and gold coins coming out the gate. It’s a castle full of money. I know nothing else about it. Once again on black paper, I’m not sure if I’ll paint the white stone white, or leave the tablet black except for the silver and gold coins.
