Drawing Amsterdam Dailies, Day 259. Another upward view of Westerkerk and its tower behind. There’s something about the picture that’s appealing. It’s not overly ornate but there’s enough detail to capture my interest. The challenge of drawing this perspective is what I like too. I’ll need to straighten the tower as it got a bit wonky. One of these days I’ll figure out how to draw the big shapes in a perspective like this and then add the details afterwards.
