A color chart across two pages in a sketchbook
I often will make color charts of current colors being used in my watercolor palettes. I enjoy the meditative process of mixing all the colors and painting each square as well as enjoying as each color is added to the whole.
Burnt Sienna and French Ultramarine Mix 1
This color chart is a mix of Daniel Smith’s Burnt Sienna and French Ultramarine watercolors. Both pigments granulate and leave interesting patterns on the page.

Burnt Sienna and Cerulean Blue Mix 1

Burnt Sienna and Cerulean Blue Mix 2

Lemon Yellow and Cobalt Blue
This bright color chart is a mix of Daniel Smith Lemon Yellow and Cobalt Blue watercolor. The Cobalt Blue is heavier than the yellow so it settles and makes for some lovely variations. The green is not very bright though.

Cadmium Yellow Medium Hue and Cerulean Blue
